$9,195 for one Studio Enterprise license, which includes one year of product maintenance. Maintenance covers upgrades plus phone and e-mail support for one year. After the first year you have the option to renew your maintenance agreement.

Maintenance Renewal

One year of maintenance is included with the purchase of a software license. Customers have the option to renew maintenance each year. The maintenance renewal price is $1,999 per license.

Upgrades

Customers with an active maintenance agreement receive free upgrades to new versions. Customers who choose not to renew maintenance may upgrade to the latest version for $4,995 per license.

What is Studio Enterprise?

Studio Enterprise is for companies that want to host Bluebeam Studio Sessions and Projects on their own locally-hosted server, behind their own firewalls. IT Administrators can set the preferences for variables such as number of Session attendees and the size of files stored on the server.

What do I need to install Bluebeam Studio Enterprise?

Your IT Administrator will need a few things to install Studio Enterprise.

  1. A registered copy of Studio Enterprise
  2. Internet Information Services (IIS) 7 or 7.5 (free from Microsoft)
  3. SQL Server 2008 R2/ R2 Express or SQL Server 2012 / 2012 Express (Express is recommended for evaluation purposes)
  4. .NET Framework 4.5
  5. An SMTP Server with an email address Studio Enterprise can use (optional)
  6. A certificate from a trusted CA (certificate authority) – recommended for your enterprise. (A self-signed certificate can be used for evaluation purposes)

You need a few things to host a Studio Session on Studio Enterprise:

  2. Authorized access to the server
  3. Bluebeam Revu 8.5 or higher to access the Studio Session

What do I need to start a Studio Project on Bluebeam Studio Enterprise?

You need a few things to host a Studio project on Studio Enterprise:

  1. A license of Studio Enterprise installed on your server
  2. Authorized access to the server
  3. Bluebeam Revu 10 or above to access Studio Projects
  4. Your email address so you can create a Studio Enterprise account

Users with a license of Bluebeam Revu 8.5 or higher can start a Studio Session as the host. The host starts the Session, adds PDFs, invites attendees and defines the security and permissions (i.e., save or print PDF files). Only hosts have the ability to generate a report of activity in the Record or finish the Session. The host does not need to be in the Session for other people to join and add markups. Once a Session starts, invited attendees can login to the Session while it is active on the server.

What do I need to join a Studio Session on Bluebeam Studio Enterprise?

You only need three things to participate in a Studio Session on Studio Enterprise:

  1. Authorized access to the server
  2. An installation of Bluebeam Revu 8.5 or higher, Bluebeam Vu for Windows or iPad or Bluebeam Revu iPad
  3. An email address so you can create a Studio account

What do I need to join a Studio Project on Bluebeam Studio Enterprise?

You only need three things to participate in a Studio Project on Studio Enterprise:

  1. Authorized access to the server
  2. An installation of Bluebeam Revu 10 or above
  3. An email address so you can create a Studio account

You do not need to purchase a license of Revu to participate in a Studio Session or Project. A trial, expired trial or registered installation of Revu can be used. If you do not already have Revu installed, you can download a trial here. A Studio account must be created so the host can authorize you to participate in the Session or Project and so other attendees can identify you.

What is the maximum number of users that can join a Studio Session on Studio Enterprise?

Your IT Administrator will determine the maximum number of users who can join a Studio Session.

What is the maximum file size for a Studio session on Studio Enterprise?

Your IT Administrator will determine the maximum number of PDFs and file sizes allowed for a Studio session.

What is the maximum size of markups that can be added to a PDF in a Studio Session on Studio Enterprise?

The total size of markups per PDF can reach up to 1GB in size; however, your IT Administrator will determine the maximum markup size.

What are the attendee, file size and markup size limitations for a Studio Project hosted on Studio Enterprise?

Similar to Projects hosted on the Bluebeam Server, there are no limits associated with Studio Projects.

If my company has Studio Enterprise, can I join Studio sessions on my iPad using Bluebeam Vu iPad or Bluebeam Revu iPad?

You can join existing Studio Sessions created on your Studio Server, as well as create new Sessions using Revu for iPad You will need to purchase an SSL certificate from a certificate authority in order to configure Studio Enterprise on your iPad.

How long does a Studio Session or Project remain active on Studio Enterprise?

Studio Enterprise retains all Session data by default unless it is archived or deleted. Project files and their revision histories are also automatically saved.

Can I prevent users from creating new Projects and Sessions on Studio Enterprise?

You can set up default permissions for users when they create accounts. This gives you control over who can access the server, create Sessions and create Projects. These defaults can be applied to both your Active Directory users as well as users with specific email domains.
